Visit the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum this week to see Framework: Exploring the Artistic Process, a museum exhibit that takes visitors into the minds of prominent Western artists. See the sketchbooks and paint palettes of various artists and explore their reference files and artist supplies, where each artist’s process and mentality are on display. This exhibit is free with museum admission and is available during museum hours.

This Friday in Edmond, the Edmond Junior Rodeo will be held at the Edmond Round Up Club. The junior rodeo will take place through Friday and Saturday, the 23rd and 24th, and adult tickets are $5.

At the Yukon City Park on Friday the 23rd, kids can attend this week’s Friday Fun Day for some STEM fun! At 10 a.m., kids will get to participate in an experiment that will show them the fun in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Admission is free.

This Saturday in Moore, avid fishers can participate in a fishing derby at Buck Thomas Pond. The derby is free, and the lakes will be stocked with catchable-size channel catfish for participants to catch and take home. Participants must bring their own rods and bait, and there is a four fish limit per family. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. the day of, or you can register ahead of time online.
