Weekend Roundup: July 15-18

Baseball is back tonight, Thursday, July 15! Our Oklahoma City Dodgers face the Reno Aces at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark at 7 p.m. It’s been too long since we got to see our Dodgers on their home field.

 

From the 16th to the 18th, The Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s annual French film celebration presents new releases and classical fan favorites. A virtual option is also available, and tickets are on sale now. Visit the Noble Theater in OKC this weekend to discover the beauty of French Film Week.

 

The Blue Zoo Aquarium will present a mermaid show this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Quail Springs Mall. Little ones will have their imaginations ignited at 4 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The show is free with admission into the aquarium.

 

On Saturday, July 17, from 6 to 10 pm, Edmond is presenting the Heard on Hurd community gathering. This month’s Heard on Hurd will feature more than 30 food trucks, vendors, and live music from local artists. The event is completely free!

 

This Saturday in Guthrie, head down to the Magnolia Moon to hear the songs and stories of folk singer Ellis Paul. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy a dinner buffet while you enjoy some of the best folk music out there today.
