We’re midway through the summer, which means it’s the perfect time to relax and immerse yourself in creativity. These weekend activities in the 405 give you a chance to explore something new and take in the joys of art (and science).

Paseo Plunge Gallery | July 7-10
Father and daughter Brian Cheek and Clover Bitting-Cheek showcase their featured artwork at Paseo Plunge at the Paseo Arts District this weekend. The gallery of analog collage work and paintings will be open to the public throughout the entire month of July. Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thurs.–Sat. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Curiousiday: Glowing in the Dark | July 9
Grab the kids and head over to the Sam Noble Museum this Saturday for an exploration behind the science of bioluminescence. With glow-in-the-dark crafts and educational activities, your kiddos are about to become experts in marine life and mammals. From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shop Latino OKC Pop-Up Market | July 10
With the second Sunday of the month, Shop Latino OKC is back with another pop-up festival at City Hall Park. Show out to support local Latino-owned businesses while shopping, grabbing a bite to eat or ordering a fresh beverage. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Twilight Concert Series | July 10
The Myriad Botanical Gardens is hosting its recurring concert series this Sunday, which is sponsored by the Arts Council of OKC. Yukon singer-songwriter Johnny Woods will take the stage with his brand of Texas country rock. Starts at 7:30 p.m.
