This Saturday, on June 19, celebrate freedom and jubilee at Juneteenth on the East. This family friendly event will spread throughout the area from NE 23rd St. between N. Kelham Ave. and N. Hood St., and feature live music, food trucks, dance performances, interactive murals, and vendors. Saturday’s event runs from 3-9 pm. Follow it up with a film screening and cookout on Sunday at Scissortail Park at 6 p.m.
