This Saturday, on June 19, celebrate freedom and jubilee at Juneteenth on the East. This family friendly event will spread throughout the area from NE 23rd St. between N. Kelham Ave. and N. Hood St., and feature live music, food trucks, dance performances, interactive murals, and vendors. Saturday’s event runs from 3-9 pm. Follow it up with a film screening and cookout on Sunday at Scissortail Park at 6 p.m.

Visit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum any day this week to enjoy the Close Encounters: Western Wildlife exhibit! Learn about the iconic animals of the American West in all their variety.

On June 17, enjoy the start of Jazz in June 2021 in Norman. This three-night jazz festival begins at Andrews part at 7 p.m., so get ready to explore the musical stylings of Lao Tizer and other jazz musicians!

The AQHA Versatility World Horse Show begins this Saturday at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie. Watch show horses compete in a variety of ranch events such as team roping, ranch cutting, and ranch conformation!
