OKCMOA Film: The Peasants. From the directors of Loving Vincent, this breathtaking, hand-painted animated epic centers on a 19th-century Polish village where a beautiful maiden marries a widowed landowner while nursing a burning love for his son. Poland’s official submission for the 2024 Best International Feature Oscar.

OKCMOA Film: Tótem. Shortlisted for the 2024 Best International Feature Oscar, this exquisitely crafted drama from award-winning Mexican director Lila Avilés (The Chambermaid) follows 7-year-old Sol as she gradually comes to understand the life-changing significance of the birthday party for which her entire family is preparing.

7:30 PM – OKCMOA Film: Pictures of Ghosts.  Brazil’s official entry for the 2024 Best International Feature Oscar, this deeply personal new documentary from Kleber Mendonça Filho (Bacurau) is a vibrant, joyous, and irresistible celebration of cinema and the filmmaker’s home city of Recife, Brazil.

SATURDAY, MARCH 30th, 2024

OK History Center Museum: Into the Mirror exhibit opening. On Saturday, March 30, the Oklahoma History Center Museum will open Into the Mirror, an exhibit featuring 20 Native American artists from the museum’s permanent collection.

10 AM – Tulip Festival at Myriad Gardens. More than 15,000 residents and visitors enjoyed Myriad Botanical Gardens’ inaugural Tulip Festival in 2023. The Gardens were bustling with more than 50 local artisans and vendors, food trucks, and live music. The vibrant tulip blossoms and colorful art displays made for a dreamy, joyful weekend. Join us in 2024 as we go even bigger!

1 PM – Photography Workshop: Tulips and Spring Color at Myriad Gardens. Capture vibrant photos of our garden landscapes, flowers, insects, and birds as you traverse our grounds during our pivotal Spring event: Tulip Fest! Join Doug Hoke in learning the basics of botanical photography as you capture the beauty of Spring and all of its colors and shapes. With tens of thousands of tulips, daffodils, and other spring bulbs to capture, you will receive real-time guidance and feedback from a professional, award-winning photographer. Class will begin in our classroom before we proceed out onto the grounds. Please bring your own camera.

1 PM – Biodiveristy Detectives. Learn all about the importance of biodiversity in a garden! Discover how to notice biodiversity around you and take notes of it in your very own field journal as you are led by a Myriad horticulturist through the Children’s Garden.

2 PM – Public Exhibition Tour: Studio Glass. Register for an exclusive tour and conversation about OKCMOA’s studio glass collection!

8 PM – Corey Kent at The Criterion. 

8:30 PM – 90’s Shake with 88REC and DJ GoldLincoln at Tower Theatre.

8:30 PM – Gimme Gimme Disco at Beer City Music Hall.

10:30 PM – Dance Party at PonyBoy.
