On Thursday, May 20, at Edmond’s Hafer Park, cool down after dark with a free evening concert at the Hafer Park stage. From 6:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., enjoy the soft rock stylings of the Sentimental Social Club and the McKee Brothers. Snow cones will be sold during the concert if you’re having trouble beating the heat and be sure to bring a folding chair. 

Also on Thursday at the Oklahoma City Zoo, visitors can pay general admission starting at $25 for Sip & Stroll (21 and older only). From 6-10 p.m., adults can chart their own expedition through the zoo while enjoying some cold drinks. Experience animal life from all over the world and try drinks inspired by a variety of international locations. 

From Friday to Sunday at the OKCMOA, delve into the ideas behind the iconic sunflower paintings by Vincent van Gogh in the documentary Sunflowers. This documentary follows a traveling exhibition of Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings and explores the unique story behind each work. 

Align your mind and body on Friday, May 21 at Norman’s Andrews Park from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. during Yoga in the Park. Make sure to bring your yoga mat and a bottle of water for an hour of relaxing and rejuvenating yoga. 

Families can visit Science Museum Oklahoma on Saturday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. to enjoy Storytime Science! During this weekly event, children get to hear an exciting story and then participate in a fun science experiment related to that story.
