This Saturday, Automobile Alley’s Art of Beer at Oklahoma Contemporary will feature all four of the district’s breweries: Vanessa House, Twisted Spike, Prairie Artisan Ales and Skydance Brewing (opening soon). From 2-8 pm, visit this free family friendly event, where music and interactive art will be included.
The First Americans Museum will celebrate their grand opening this Saturday and Sunday at 8 am. With family activities and cultural demonstrations, this weekend’s festivities will educate and excite all who visit. On the 18th, a tribal procession of 39 Tribal Nations will take place at 10:30 am. Tickets are $5 per person.
Concerts at the Creek will recur this Friday, 7 pm, at Chisholm Creek. Enjoy live music before the warm weather leaves us! This event is free to the public. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for maximum comfort while listening to the sounds of OKC.
Friday at 1 pm, Blue Zoo OKC will host their Mermaid Meet and Greet for children of all ages. Ask questions and take photos with the mermaids, located at Quail Springs Mall. There is no additional cost after admission to the aquarium.
Scissortail Park’s Night Market will open Friday from 5:30-9:30 pm, where food trucks, music, and shops will be in place. Adorned with lights, take your family and friends to find antique gifts and goodies for free. Bar service will also be available.
