Mudslides, Murder Mystery, and the Oklahoma State Fair

OKC’s Down Syndrome Festival kicks off this Saturday at 8 a.m, located at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Featuring an awareness walk (starting at 9:30 a.m.), family-friendly activities, a 1-mile fun run and a 5k, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to participate. Raffles, face painters, moon bounces, music and more will be offered!

At Lost Lakes Adventure Park, OKC’s Scars And Stripes Mud Run has fun for everyone the entire day. Get messy with a mudslide, and then snag your t-shirt and medal for participating! All proceeds from the run benefit Empower the Veterans 501c3. Food trucks and music will also be included.

The Skirvin Hilton Hotel is hosting their murder mystery-themed dinner from 6-9 p.m. this Saturday, September 25. Bring your family and friends to experience fine dining along with a spooky twist! This comical interactive theater show adds a whole new experience to your regular meals.

Grab the kids and head over to Oklahoma’s State Fair this weekend! Hours are 8 a.m.-1 a.m. from Friday through Sunday. Prepare yourself for games, rides, food trucks, livestock, and more! A PRCA championship rodeo along with a motorsport competition will be held at the fairgrounds. Live music and vendors will be set up, so don’t miss the fun!
