I Saw the TV Glow showing @Noble Theater. Stop by at one of three showings to see a highlight of this year’s Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals, “I Saw the TV Glow”. (Thursday 7:30pm, Friday 8:00pm, Saturday 2:00pm)


In Our Day showing @Noble Theater. Grab your popcorn, and take a seat at one of the three showings of “In Our Day,” a film about friendship, art, and life. (Friday 5:30pm, Saturday 5:30pm, Sunday 12:30)


Thursday June 13th, 2024


2PM – “Masonic Lodges of Oklahoma” presentation by Kenneth Sivard @State Historic Preservation Office. Join the State Historic Preservation Offices free webinar with Oklahoma Historical Society board member Kenneth Sivard. The presentation will be about the Masonic Lodges of Oklahoma, exploring their history and architectural style.


7:30PM – Summer Music Series: DARUMA @Oklahoma Contemporary. Free Summer Music Series event with DARUMA for their debut US tour. Have a fun night listening to contemporary jazz sounds!


8PM – Hot Bingo Nights @ The Jones Assembly


Friday June 14th, 2024


6PM – Sip & Stroll @OKC Zoo. Take a stroll through the zoo as you indulge in many snack and drink options! JUNE 14, 21, and 28, 6 TO 10 P.M.


7PM – Prince: 40 Years of Purple Rain @Tower Theatre OKC. 2024 marks 40 years of Prince’s legendary Purple Rain, and Tower Theatre and Kendrik McKinney feat. Mark Lettieri, Wes Stephenson, and more are putting on a performance to honor him. Come to hear all your favorite songs from the album!


Saturday June 15th, 2024


9AM – FREE Yoga @Myriad Botanical Gardens. Twice-weekly yoga classes, running Tuesdays at 6pm & Saturdays at 9am. Whether it be after work on a Tuesday or a morning class on Saturday to start the weekend, participate in a calming yoga class in the park.


10AM – The Route 66 Blue Hippo Festival @Edmond History Museum. Celebrate  Edmond’s placement along Route 66 and the reopening of Stephenson Park with the Route 66 icon, the Blue Hippo. Free family-friendly activities, performances, artists and all things blue, will take place at the Edmond History Museum and in Stephenson Park in Edmond, Oklahoma. (10am-4pm)


1PM – Pinhole Camera Workshop with Jim Meeks @Oklahoma History Center. Join photographer and artist Jim Meeks in an introduction and historical overview of pinhole cameras. Bring some friends to create your own pinhole camera! (1-4pm)


3PM – Juneteenth On The East @NE 23rd between Kelham & Hood. Juneteenth on the East is a celebration for all people to come together and peacefully rejoice in freedom, exchange in culture, and uplift the community. Come experience the movements, music and culture by many artists and performers!


Sunday June 16th, 2024


9AM – Yoga at the Wheel @Wheeler District Ferris Wheel. Start your Sunday mornings off by participating in a monthly outdoor yoga class for free! Class instruction provided by This Land Yoga. No registration is required, just show up with your yoga mat and you’re good to go!


Monday June 17th, 2024


6:30PM – Girl Scouts Recruitment Event @Mitch Park. If you are a parent of a child who’s interested in joining Girl Scouts, come to an information and sign-up event! This event will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mitch Park. Reservations are strongly encouraged. To RSVP, text “Pink” to (405) 442-0684.


Tuesday June 18th, 2024


4PM – Ruzycki Farms @Eastside Fresh Market. Find Ruzycki Farms at the Eastside Fresh Market every Tuesday evening from May 7th to October 15th, from 4pm to 7pm. Delight in some fresh and healthy vegetables!


5PM – Juneteenth Celebration: “Honor, Reflect, and Celebrate!” program @Oklahoma History Center. Juneteenth is the celebration of emancipation following the U.S. Civil War. U.S. Army General Gordon Granger proclaimed the end of slavery in Texas at Galveston on June 19, 1865. This news and celebration spread to the enslaved people of Indian Territory throughout that summer. The event will educate the public about the history of Juneteenth with a book signing, live performances, discussions and more. (5-8pm)
