Jeff Provine and Dennis Spielman release “100 Things to Do in Oklahoma City Before You Die”

This book is a simple guide to making easy plans in the metro.

No more saying “What should I do today?” or “There is nothing to do here!” With “100 Things to Do in Oklahoma City Before You Die”, Jeff Provine and Dennis Spielman have put in the work for you. From the Oklahoma Hall of Fame to Lake Overholser Bridge, there are so many options to choose from to help you never be bored again.

There are hundreds of travelers year round in Oklahoma. As humans, we are always looking for a new adventure and a fun adventure. Oklahoma City, now famously referred to as the “Modern Frontier”, has so many places that people have never even explored before. Provine and Spilman have laid out 100 options of the must see places in Oklahoma, some you may have been to before, others maybe not.

Jeff Provine is an OCCC English professor who focused on local folklore, which later led him to publish Haunted Oklahoma, Haunted Oklahoma City, and Secret Oklahoma City. Dennis Spielman is the producer of the travel show Uncovering Oklahoma, which earned him the Media in the Arts Award from the Oklahoma Governor’s Arts Awards.

“There’s always something new to do in OKC!” is their motto and boy are they right! These authors give you plenty of opportunities to get out there and have fun, especially in today’s society when we sometimes have the tendency to stay home. The Farmers Market at Scissortail Park, the town’s hidden record shops, and the chic’est chic of OKC’s numerous art districts are a few things you can look forward to seeing in this book.
