For Dr. Jennifer Sheppard, chiropractic care is rooted in a personal understanding of how health challenges can affect everyday life. Her own early experiences shaped a career dedicated to helping others pursue greater energy, vitality and comfort through a personalized approach to care.
Since graduating from Parker Chiropractic College in 1993, Dr. Sheppard has served Oklahoma patients practicing NUCCA, an upper cervical specialty. She established Precision Chiropractic as Oklahoma city’s Upper Cervical Chiropractic clinic and is still only one of 350 clinics in the world. Today, she is joined by Dr. Andrew Cashman, giving the practice two chiropractors specializing in the NUCCA technique.
NUCCA focuses on the upper cervical region and uses precise postural and xray measurements to create a specific treatment. For Dr. Sheppard, supporting nervous system function is the foundation of a broader approach centered on each patient’s individual needs. Her ongoing postgraduate studies reflect a commitment to advancements in imaging and technique while continuing to expand her knowledge of upper cervical care and bio-enhancing technology.
That individualized philosophy extends throughout Precision Chiropractic. Depending on a patient’s needs, the practice incorporates red-light therapy, Class IV laser technology, High Energy Inductive Therapy, injectable nutrients and other wellness options. Dr. Sheppard also values collaboration across disciplines, recognizing how dentistry, physical therapy and other specialties can contribute to addressing complex cranio-cervical concerns.
Dr. Sheppard’s commitment to the profession extends beyond the clinic. As a NUCCA Ambassador and member of NUCCA, the ICA Upper Cervical Council and Chiropractic Physicians of Oklahoma, Dr. Sheppard remains connected to the continued evolution of chiropractic care.
