Diamond Consulate Brings a Private Jewelry Experience to Oklahoma City

Opening November 1 near Nichols Hills, the appointment-only showroom combines diamond exploration, live custom design and a more personal way to shop.

An engagement ring appointment can be part of the celebration itself. Imagine dinner on Western Avenue, followed by a private consultation where you can sip champagne, try on rings and explore the possibilities together.

That is the idea behind Diamond Consulate, a new appointment-only jewelry showroom opening November 1 at 5701 N. Western Avenue, Suite B, in Oklahoma City. Near Nichols Hills and Classen Curve, the showroom welcomes clients from across the metro, including Edmond, for an experience built around personal attention, creativity and time to make a thoughtful decision.

With two private consultation rooms, Diamond Consulate offers a setting where questions are encouraged and the appointment moves at your pace. Consultations are complimentary, with no pressure to purchase.

Try It On. See the Difference.

A ring can look beautiful in a photograph and feel entirely different on your hand. Exploring styles in person helps turn a collection of saved images into a clearer sense of what you love.

At Diamond Consulate, clients can try different shapes, settings and proportions while discussing how a ring should fit their style and everyday life. Whether the starting point is a classic solitaire, an elongated center stone or something entirely original, engagement ring consultations make room for discovery.

Diamond selection is equally hands-on. Clients can compare natural and lab-grown diamonds in person, examine stones under magnification and ask what the differences mean for their preferences and budget.

Seeing diamonds together gives context to the specifications on a grading report. Shape, sparkle and the way a stone catches your attention become part of the conversation.

Watch Your Design Take Shape

For clients creating something custom, the experience continues on screen.

Through live collaborative CAD jewelry design, clients can participate as their ideas become a detailed digital design. CAD—computer-aided design—allows them to explore proportions and setting details before the piece moves into production.

Would a slimmer band feel better? Should the center stone sit lower? How would a wedding band fit alongside it? Reviewing those choices during the design process helps clients understand the piece they are creating and refine the details that matter to them.

The possibilities extend beyond a proposal. Anniversary jewelry, a meaningful gift or an inherited diamond ready for a new setting can all begin with a conversation.

Established Experience, a New Oklahoma City Home

Diamond Consulate comes from the ownership behind Christopher Fine Diamonds, an independent jewelry store established in Chandler, Arizona, in 2003. The new Oklahoma City showroom builds on that foundation of custom jewelry design, diamond guidance and experienced craftsmanship.

In Oklahoma City, Store Manager Donovan Smith, a GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional, oversees the local consultation and design experience. Clients receive personal guidance as they explore diamonds, develop a custom design or select wedding bands to complement an engagement ring.

The result is a new setting for an established approach: listen carefully, explain the options and give each piece the attention it deserves.

Make an Appointment—and Make It Yours

Come together to explore engagement rings. Bring inspiration for an anniversary piece. Or start with a family stone and an idea for its next chapter.

You do not need to arrive with every decision made. The consultation is where those decisions begin.

Diamond Consulate opens November 1, 2026, and reservations are available now. Explore the private consultation experience and reserve your appointment.
