Sadly fragile and easily damaged; though fundamentally similar in composition, capable of astonishing individual variety… and breathtaking, transcendent beauty. Glass reflects humanity itself in the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s “Fusion,” a collection of sculptures and installations created in the 21st century. The nearly four dozen pieces by national and international artists include a range of styles and subject matter from gender roles to the role of technology in the future development of humanity, reflecting a great deal about the artists’ views on the human condition in the new millennium.
