For Dr. Anureet Bajaj, moving forward has always been about more than simply getting from one place to another. It’s about continuing to learn, grow, and find new ways to make a difference.
A board-certified plastic surgeon, artist, writer, and business owner, Dr. Bajaj has spent her career evolving. For more than a decade, she was recognized nationally for her work in complex breast reconstruction, helping women rebuild after cancer. Today, she brings that same experience and attention to detail to her aesthetic practice, specializing in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and aesthetic breast surgery.
Her approach is simple: listen carefully, understand what each patient wants, and make thoughtful decisions about what will help them feel their best.
“Experience changes the way you see things,” she says. “As a surgeon, you continue to evolve. You learn when to do more, when to do less, and how to create a result that feels authentic to the person in front of you.”
That same mindset carries into her life outside of medicine. Her pink bike makes an appearance in the Women Who Move the City shoot—and, in many ways, captures that same spirit. It’s a fun reflection of her personality.
Cycling takes strength and endurance, but it also takes balance. There are constant, subtle adjustments to make while continuing to move forward. In many ways, that’s how Dr. Bajaj approaches her work and life: with curiosity, intention, and a willingness to keep learning.
“I don’t think we’re ever finished becoming who we’re going to be,” she says. “Whether it’s as a surgeon, an artist, or simply as a person, there is always an opportunity to learn, refine, and keep moving forward.”
For Dr. Bajaj, the goal isn’t about making dramatic changes. It’s about helping women feel comfortable and confident in who they already are. Whether she’s in the operating room or out on her bike, she continues to move forward with purpose—and encourages the women around her to do the same.
