Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma (Goodwill) is an affordable and sustainable option for families to curate their own DIY looks of mainstream Halloween costumes. From spooky witches, ghosts and zombies to beautiful princesses and courageous superheroes, Goodwill is a great one-stop shop for everything you need to celebrate, including party décor for your small gatherings, home décor, DIY items for crafts and so much more.

For those who prefer to pull together a DIY look, Goodwill has limitless options. From funky pants and skirts to a variety of wigs, hats and accessories, shoppers can put together a fun and unique costume that will stand out from the crowd. If you don’t find the costume you want at one location, you can shop other central Oklahoma locations to find exactly what you need. Goodwill is a new store every hour, as new inventory is constantly added to the floor.

Your Halloween finds provide more benefits than winning the costume contest. They also open doors to job training and opportunities for Oklahomans struggling with unemployment. Through the nonprofit’s mission, Goodwill offers free job training and placement services to Oklahomans in need.

Goodwill has several programs, including the Youth, Reentry and Veteran Employment Preparation Programs, Goodwill Career Pathways Institute and the Job Connection Center. The local nonprofit also started a virtual reality training for forklift operators. These programs prepare underemployed or unemployed individuals for careers in fields such as information technology, healthcare, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, automotive service and many more high-demand industries. All services are free to those in need.

Shop sustainably this season and find affordable items at your local Goodwill store. To learn about celebrating Halloween the Goodwill way and its mission, please visit www.okgoodwill.org.
