“My husband Ryan and I are honored to call Oklahoma City our home. Our date night purpose has quickly become an opportunity to expose some of the city’s hidden gems for our social media audience to discover and enjoy, while still making a point to keep the outing and time centered on what’s important for us: our connection. Here are some of our recommendations for having fun, while still maintaining that “date night coziness” we like to look for in curating the perfect romantic memories in downtown OKC.

The perfect date night for us starts at Stock and Bond at 138 Park Ave. If we didn’t already go to Tellers (120 N. Robinson Ave.) — our favorite place for drinks, and appetizers — we will enjoy a beverage from Stock and Bond and indulge in its jumbo shrimp cocktail and craft burgers or juicy steaks. Plus, if date night is on a night when the OKC Ballet is performing (okcballet.org), we love to embrace the romance of the dance at the Civic Center Music Hall, 201 N. Walker Ave.”

Stock and Bond: This restaurant, with their many cuts of delicious steaks, has made an effort to curate a menu that pays homage to Oklahoma’s rich culture in agriculture. They also pride themselves on their whisky options, and their famous chocolate cake from their dessert menu. Learn more at stockandbond.com

Tellers: Located inside the First National Center’s Great Hall, Tellers Wood Fired Italian Grill provides a beautiful view to accompany their delicious offerings. They even have a Sunday Jazz Brunch every week with live music to enjoy! Pastas, pizza, the best seasonal veggies – all prepared in authentic Italian styles. Learn more at tellersokc.com.

Civic Center: The local hub for Broadway shows, concerts, Oklahoma City Ballet performances, and the Annual Festival of the Arts – the Oklahoma City Civic Center plays a vital role in bringing both entertainment and culture to a date night.
