Renaissance OKC Bricktown announces leadership team; Chickasaw government names new appointments, and Paycom adds to board.
Renaissance OKC Downtown
Renaissance OKC Bricktown, owned and operated by Anish Hotels Group, is set to open in May and will be led by Anish Patel, Meri Contreras, Shannon Brown and Justin Huff.
Anish Patel currently serves as Vice President of Finance at Anish Hotels Group and remains actively involved in new developments, acquisitions and dispositions, openings, operations, and sales and marketing. He has facilitated over $70 million of deal volume during his time with the company.
Meri Contreras, Vice President of Operations at Anish Hotels Group, has been with the company for more than 12 years and has served in her current role since 2016. Meri oversees the daily operations and sales of nine hotels. Meri began her hospitality career in 2006 at a Holiday Inn Express in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She first joined the Marriott family in 2008 at a Fairfield Inn & Suites.
Shannon Brown is the Director of Sales and Marketing at the new Renaissance Oklahoma City Downtown Bricktown Hotel. Shannon comes to Anish Hotels Group from the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel where she developed and managed a team of professional salespeople, was responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, brand communication and the development of business relationships.
Justin Huff is the General Manager of the new Renaissance Oklahoma City Downtown Bricktown Hotel. Justin’s career spans 13 years, starting with Champion Hotels in 2010 as the Area Sales Coordinator. Justin joined Anish Hotels Group in the fall of 2021 as the General Manager at the Fairfield by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown where he has improved guest satisfaction by over twenty points.
Chickasaw Nation announces appointments
Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby today announced the appointment of longtime Secretary of Commerce Bill Lance as Secretary of State and the appointment of former Congressman Dan Boren as Secretary of Commerce.
The appointments will become effective in June.
Lance is the longest-serving Secretary of Commerce in the history of the Chickasaw Nation. Since he was first appointed to that role in 2009 annual net income generated by the Nation’s businesses more than tripled, with a compounding annual growth rate of 11 percent. Prior to his tenure as Commerce Secretary, Lance served as administrator of the Nation’s health system where, under the leadership of Governor Bill Anoatubby, he led development of the 370,000 square foot Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada.
Boren, former United States Representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District, served the past two and half years as a member of the executive team at First United Bank, a $13 billion financial institution operating in Oklahoma and Texas.

Felicia Williams Appointed to Paycom’s Board of Directors
Paycom Software announced the appointment of Felicia Williams to Paycom’s board of directors as a Class II director.
Williams currently serves at Macy’s, Inc., as senior vice president of finance and Fellow for CEO Action for Racial Equality. She brings more than 30 years of experience in audit and corporate financial leadership in the consumer goods and retail sectors. Williams served as interim chief financial officer at Macy’s from June 2020 to November 2020. Since joining Macy’s in 2004, Williams has served in various roles, including spearheading the company’s internal audit, controller, risk management, treasury and investor relations functions.
Williams previously led international audit and capital markets organizations at Coca-Cola and Bristol Myers Squibb.
“Felicia’s background is an ideal fit as she adds to the strength of the board by leveraging the skills she has developed in her previous positions,” said Chad Richison, Paycom’s founder, chairman of the board and CEO.
