Special Art for Special Care
Lee Allan Smith and Barry Switzer, together with The Howell Gallery, are hosting an art show and sale to benefit Special Care, a nonprofit facility in Oklahoma City that provides early childhood education, specialized care and on-site therapeutic services for children with and without special needs – including students with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and Down Syndrome.
Special Care Special Event Thursday, June 22
At this exciting event, attendees will enjoy a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres courtesy of The Metro Wine Bar & Bistro while viewing artwork by the Gallery’s roster of artists – as well as spectacular creations by two Oklahoma City artists, Mary Tevington and Amy Hornbeek.
In addition, a silent auction will give one generous collector a chance to take home a special bronze sculpture entitled “Jump for Joy” by award-winning artist Glenna Goodacre.
Anyone interested in attending is invited to contact the gallery for more information – come share in appreciation of beautiful art, for a special cause.
