Celebrate the season with family-friendly outings, festive pop-ups, markets, shows and more events recurring weekly through December.

The Midtown Pop Up Shops are open weekends through December 21.

Midtown Pop Up Shops                                          

When: Friday & Saturday, 10 AM-8 PM, Sunday 10 AM-6 PM

Where: Midtown, 399 NW 10th St.

Price: Free

The giant retail igloos are back with a new roster of incredible vendors. Each week, some of the best and diverse local shops will help everyone in OKC find a gift for everyone on their Christmas list. The vendors change weekly, so attending weekly is a must!


Safari Lights Returns at the Zoo                

When: Nightly from 5:30-11 PM

Where: Oklahoma City Zoo, 2000 Remington Place

Price: Walk-through admission $14-18 a person, drive through admission $60-78 per vehicle

The epic Safari Lights at the Oklahoma City Zoo return this Saturday evening and will light up the sky through Sunday, Jan. 4. Drive along an almost mile-long journey through the zoo to see the glowing animal lights and holiday lanterns before walking through the park to experience the interactive light displays, and even see a live animal or two!

Visit The National, Autograph Collection

When: Daily!

Location: The National, Autograph Collection Hotel, 120 N. Robinson

Arguably one of the most beautiful holiday backdrops occurs each year in the Great Hall of the First National Building in downtown OKC. Through January, this historic hotel transforms with extravagant decor and fun holiday events. Make a reservation for their holiday themed tea service, ‘Tis the TEAson, or have breakfast with Santa. Adults can sneak downstairs to Vixen’s Vault, a fun speakeasy with seasonal cocktails and live music. Restaurants Tellers and Stock & Bond will host festive dining experiences for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

The iconic Christmas tree in the First National building has returned and is the perfect backdrop for all of your holiday photos.

Miracle at Social Capital

Miracle at Social Capital is back with its annual holiday pop-up bar just steps away from Scissortail Park. The event is open to everyone of all ages, but you will have to show an ID to purchase an alcoholic beverage in one of the signature Christmas Tiki glasses. But not to worry! Those underage or who prefer not to drink are welcome to enjoy a mocktail, hot chocolate or cider and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Food is also available on-site for purchase.

Miracle at Social Capital 

Classic Christmas    

Time: Friday & Saturday 5:30-10:30 PM, Sunday 5:30-9:30 PM

Location: Remington Park, 1 Remington Place

Price: $25

Experience the wonder of the holidays, from ice skating to snow tubing to impressive light displays and tasty treats, all at one magical event as the Coca-Cola Classic Christmas returns this Friday night through Dec. 28. Bring the whole family out to Remington Park to experience everything for yourself. There will be themed nights throughout the season, so make sure you check the calendar for special events like OKC Thunder Night, OU Sooners Night, Country Christmas and even Paws & Claus!

Devon Ice Rink

Location: Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno

Price: $15 with skate rental, $10 without

No matter your skill level, all are welcome to glide on the ice at the Downtown Devon Ice Rink. There are even rentable adorable penguins aides to help kiddos stay upright.


Dasher’s Den Pop-Up Speakeasy

When: Open Thursday – Saturday through January 3

Location: Colcord Hotel, 15 N. Robinson

Price: $12.50 to enter, plus the price of drinks

Hidden behind a door on the third floor of the Colcord Hotel is a dreamy holiday speakeasy, full of nostalgic candy-cane decor, sweet treats and seasonal cocktails to sip on. Entrance to this 21+ pop-up bar is ticketed, with a time limit of 90 minutes, to ensure as many people can visit as possible! Grab your tickets fast, select dates have already sold out!


The Polar Express Train Ride 

When: Starting time varies

Price: Kids starting at $44, Adults starting at $50

All aboard the classic holiday story of The Polar Express as it departs from the Oklahoma Railway Museum. This one-hour train ride includes hot chocolate, caroling and reading the children’s book aloud as visitors are whisked off to meet Santa. The rides continue through Sunday, Dec. 28.

Sparkle Holiday Walk at Scissortail Park            

Time: Thursday-Sunday 5:30-9:30 PM, Open nightly beginning Dec. 18

Location: Scissortail Park

Price: $9 online, $10 at the gate, discounted tickets for members available

Take a stroll through Scissortail Park, illuminated under thousands of festive lights and all-new immersive light displays. Guests are encouraged to enjoy time with family and friends in the fresh air and view whimsical vignettes and sparkling scenes that celebrate the spirit of the season.


Free Weekend Streetcar Rides                          

Getting around Downtown on the weekend just got more fun – and affordable! Between now and January 5th, ride the Oklahoma City Streetcar for free each weekend. The streetcar runs Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. to Midnight, Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.


Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll

When: Nightly from 5-10 PM

Where: Mitch Park, 1501 W. Covell Road, Edmond

Price: Free!

Mitch Park in Edmond twinkles during this year’s holiday event, Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll. Opening night is this Friday evening and a celebration with activities and entertainment is planned for all to enjoy. This walk-through light display is open nightly through New Years Day.


OAK on Ice! 

When: Monday-Thursday 4-9 PM, Friday 4-10 PM, Saturday 11 AM-10 PM, Sunday 12-9 PM

Where: OAK OKC, 2124 NW Expressway

Price: General admission with skate rental $15, without rental $12

One of OKC’s trendiest outdoor skating rinks has returned and will be open through Jan. 18. Open seven days a week, including holidays, this is a great, family-friendly way to get some exercise and make some memories.

Sippin’ Santa

Time: Monday – Friday 4 PM – Midnight, Saturday & Sunday 2 PM – Midnight

Location: Future home of Superfly Lounge, 1137 NW 2nd St in the West Village District

Price: Free!

Enjoy even more Tiki-themed cocktails at Sippin’ Santa in the West Village District. This 21+ experience is a perfect island-meets-holiday escape, open seven days a week. With a full menu of tiki-inspired seasonal cocktails in super fun glassware, make sure to stop by sometime this month, as they close December 31.
