The novel coronavirus can live on some surfaces for two or three days and in the air for an hour, according to tests from the U.S. government and other scientists released last week.
That said, there is no evidence at this point that anyone has been infected through airborne or surface contact, but it’s good to wash hands frequently and keep hand sanitizer on hand.
