The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association recently named Dolese Bros. Co. Concrete Delivery Professional John Becker as a runner-up in its 2022 Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional Driver of the Year Award.
Becker is a 10-year veteran driver and works out of Dolese’s Weatherford, Oklahoma batch plant. Judges recognized him for his outstanding safety record, never having a vehicle accident or rejected load while having delivered an average of 6,000 cubic yards of concrete annually over the past three years. He was Dolese’s 2021 Driver of the Year, and the company honored him in 2017, 2019 and 2020 in its Safe Driving Awards competition.
“John exemplifies our values of stewardship, integrity, safety, and teamwork,” said Scott Brewer, Vice President Concrete Products Division for Dolese. “We’re proud not only of this recognition for John but for the work he does every day to make sure our customers have an outstanding experience with our products and service.”
The Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional Driver of the Year Award annually acknowledges the significant contribution of ready mixed concrete truck drivers to the growth and success of individual companies and the ready mixed concrete industry. The award recognizes a driver’s career achievement, safety, professionalism, competence, and customer service. NRMCA will honor the 2022 Driver of the Year winners at its annual convention held March 15 – 18 in San Antonio, Texas.
