MARCON, a marketing conference hosted by OKC’s American Marketing Association chapter, will feature two days of speakers and sessions May 11-12.
MARCON, a marketing conference put on by OKC’s local AMA chapter, will host both national and local speakers for two days of sessions and speakers May 11-12.
“Get ready to cut up and have a good time,” said event organizer Matt Farley. “The event is intentionally loose, with plenty of breaks to get up and network between presentations. The emcee will be loud, the presentations will be candid, and the real-life applications will be obvious. No need to sit through an hour-long presentation on SEO tactics that require an outside company to execute on. There are skills and insights you’ll be able to implement immediately.”
The conference will feature six keynote speakers and 10 regional speakers, Farley said.
“We believe it’s just as important to give our best and brightest local speakers a platform to present their insights as it is to bring in outside authors, experts and practitioners,” he said. “Besides, who’s to say you have to go outside of OKC to get a great marketer? I look at people like Adam Ballard of Paycom. He’s a local marketing expert, but I challenge you to find five more people like him in the world.”
