Tim Strange, an industry veteran with extensive experience in local commercial real estate, will serve as president.
Pivot Project formed Pivot Brokerage to help members of the Oklahoma City community buy, sell and lease commercial real estate. It will operate alongside Pivot’s development and property management divisions. The brokerage complements Pivot’s overarching mission of moving communities and culture forward through joyous disruption and conscious collaboration, according to Pivot executives.
“I’m thrilled to join Pivot Project and launch our new brokerage operations,” Strange said. “Through the past decade of award-winning local development, Pivot’s community-focused approach has positioned it as a leader in commercial real estate as well as a champion for meaningful and impactful projects that serve the community with intentionality. We’re excited to offer our services to a greater variety of individuals and businesses looking to buy, sell or lease commercial properties in Oklahoma. Most importantly, Pivot Brokerage will prioritize Pivot’s unwavering commitment to transparency and trust.”
Strange brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience to the Pivot leadership team. Throughout his career, he has sold and leased more than 1,000 transactions totaling more than 7 million square feet and valued at over $1.2 billion. SVN International previously named Strange as its Humanitarian of the Year and top-ranked broker in the U.S.
“Tim is the godfather of commercial real estate brokerage in OKC, and we are ecstatic to have him plant the Pivot Brokerage flag,” said Pivot Project CEO and co-founder Jonathan Dodson. “Launching a brokerage wing of Pivot is an exciting next step in empowering communities through intentional real estate development in Oklahoma City. Pivot Brokerage and Tim’s leadership will further enable us to serve our community and create a positive ripple effect that extends far beyond our own projects.”
