Candor, a marketing communications agency, joins the larger firm in an effort to add communications capabilities and drive growth.
Salient Global recently announced it signed a definitive purchase agreement to add Candor, a marketing communications agency, to its company in an effort to add to its communications capabilities and drive growth.
Founded in 2012 by President & CEO Karen Wicker, Candor quickly grew from one employee to 20 and landed blue-chip clients such as Walmart, the Choctaw Nation, Devon Energy, Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and OU Health.
Candor has also gained accolades from industry organizations including Outstanding Boutique Agency Finalist and Outstanding Young Professional of the Year from PRWeek, as well as Agency of the Year for three years from the PRSA Oklahoma City chapter.

As part of the partnership, Candor employees will continue to work under the firm’s brand name and be led by Wicker, who will remain CEO of Candor and Senior Managing Partner of Salient, reporting to Specht. Ally Glavas Olson will also be promoted to President of Candor and become a Salient Managing Partner to help lead the Candor team alongside Wicker.

Candor joins the Salient network, which includes recently acquired data-enriched media company ICX Media, experience and innovation firm Timecraft, and earned creative agency Honeymoon.
