In case you can’t make it to The Dead Sea, north Texas might be the next best thing. WorldSprings is a colossal new mineral springs destination, located at Grandscape in The Colony, marking the first of its kind in the state, and the largest outdoor mineral springs facility in the country. It boasts more than 40 soaking pools, Finnish barrel saunas and a spa spread across nine acres. Roughly 20 minutes north of Dallas, and conveniently accessible off I-35, WorldSprings is where wellness meets recreation and luxury, by bringing pools inspired by the world’s most famous springs — including The Dead Sea and Iceland’s Blue Lagoon — to the DFW area. Each pool is carefully designed and formulated to replicate the sensations of floating in such iconic springs, rich with cleansing minerals that’ll leave you refreshed, relaxed and restored.
Upon arrival, guests can grab a bite at The Springs Cafe & Bar, or head straight to the locker room before selecting their spring of choice. Pools range in size and style, with temperatures ranging from 45-degree cold plunges to 104-degree hot springs. Some pools, like the freshwater Globe Pool, are all-ages, while others, like the salty Dead Sea Pool, are adults-only. Along with a replica of the Jordanian sea, with enough salinity for an effortless float, WorldSprings features other globally inspired springs including crystal-clear hot tubs inspired by the Yarrangobilly Hot Springs of Australia; Texas’ own version of Iceland’s serene Blue Lagoon; and Japanese- and Korean-style springs steeped in skin-nourishing bicarbonate.
Each area includes cabanas, birch-clad saunas, poolside drink service, fire pits and cold plunges, designed to reduce inflammation and increase circulation. Soak sessions can be booked for three or six hours, and include towels and amenities (like hydration stations and changing rooms). After, explore the rest of Grandscape, a shopping and entertainment development filled with restaurants, bars, retail options, attractions and hotels.
