OKLAHOMA IS A STATE WITH A RICH HISTORY, unique cultural experiences and local cuisine that dazzles the senses. It’s also home to the more than 40 businesses of the Made in Oklahoma (MIO) Coalition, which provides Oklahoma-made food products to shoppers across the state and beyond.
In 2001, Gov. Frank Keating declared April Made in Oklahoma Month to celebrate these Oklahoma food producers, processors and manufacturers who represent more than 25 different towns and cities, and produce a diverse range of meats, dairy, beverages, condiments and more.
