AS FAMILIES PREPARE TO HIT THE ROAD OR TAKE FLIGHT THIS SUMMER, more travelers will book using their mobile devices than ever before. Purchases of airline tickets or hotel reservations by smartphone or tablet are expected to triple from $2.6 billion in 2011 to $8.1 billion in 2013, according to a study by travel research firm PhoCusWright.
